    Hi,
I'm looking for information/photographs, regarding HVAR use on late model P-47D's. There are several sites on the web that claim late model dash 40 airplanes could be equipped with ten 5" rockets, however, I have not been successful in finding any pictorial evidence. The photos that I did locate, only show four rockets installed, two on each wing between the ordnance pylons and the main landing gear and none on the outer wing panels as used on N models.
TIA for any help on this matter,
    Regards,
    P.N.

    Beaupower,
Thank you for the pics. Not D's but still useful. The thread about Le Shima is great!
    Regards,
    P.N.
