P-51 cockpit

    Hellow guys

    I was planing to build a P-51 cockpit reproduction 1:1 for flight simulation using

    I would appreciate if any of you could adress me or proporcionate some good blueprints and/or real dimensions of the cockpit section of the aircraft, useful for a rebuilding... if possible free to download.

    I already have all manuals available on the net, but no real ingeneering blueprints.

    You need to make sure that the drawings are the full set ...16400+ !. Be aware that approx 4% are unreadable but this will not affect you if you are building just the cockpit from the firewall to the rear of the seat.

    You will need the Parts catalog as this will give you details for which drawing you will need to print off to make the parts you need.

    With that and some simple tools, you will end up with a brilliant 'pit ! :)

    Hola Gadget

    This site :- XP-82 Twin Mustang Project is about the restoration of a Twin Mustang, but a lot of the cockpit equipment is the same, and the photographs are very clear.
