Does anyone have any idea how much a p-51 spinner would be worth?

That depends on whether it is airworthy or just someone's fancy doorstop. As with most things like this, the trick will be to find the right motivated buyer or market. Take a look around E-Bay or Spitfirespares.com to get an idea.
