P-51D With Blue Fuselage

On the way home today, travelling north on Highway 97, in British Columbia, a truck with a trailer was heading south and on that trailer was a P-51D with the fuselage painted blue. Anyone know of any Mustangs in Northern B.C., Yukon or Alaska?

Was it a complete pristine Mustang or something that was dragged out of a hanger after 40 years? Was it a wreck or disassembled? Could it have been a fiberglass replica?

Definitely a P-51D, wings were off, protective tarp over windscreen and bubbletop and painted a powder blue, a bit lighter than this shade. At a combined closing speed of 240km/h it looked in pretty good shape by the time I saw it for what it was

There is a P-51C (named Thunderbird) that is an overall blue.

Would be interesting to know what that P-51D's story is.

Thinking the same Andy. Going by it at Warp Factor 4, it looked full size but it also may have been scaled down
