To summarize, he had follow youtuber and Aussie AnimarchyHistory‬ choose a couple of terrible World War 2 aircraft, with Perun finding reasons for why an air force (immediately post WW2) should get these.

The aircraft Animarchy choose:

Air-superiority fighter: Ryan FR Fireball
Interceptor: Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet
Heavy bomber: Petlyakov Pe-8
Multi-role bomber: Heinkel He 177 Greif
Anti-submarine warfare aircraft: Kyushu Q1W

Your thoughts? I liked Perun's sales pitches for the various aircraft.

There's a few YT creators who took up the "Elbonian Air Force" worst air force challenge. I think Ed Nash's Military Matters/Forgotten Aircraft and/or Rex's Hangar might have taken up the challenge.
Someone chose the XB-40 as Elbonia's air superiority fighter.

we should do one here. One member should set limits as in the clip i.g. Wurger .
All that want to join in this group sale can make his pitch.

A bit of a what if but with more sales talk.

What say you all?

Put a me 163 on a train and then fire it, Natter wise.
Like the train aaa, very much feared and o so succes full
This bundle of Joy will get a more then a few goose.
Land near train under cover of said very succesfull aaa.
Then move.
Yes we loose a few in "accidents" but not as much as JG53./2 that almos lost all⁸ in 1 sortie, airplanes and worse.... pilots.
Soon we have 24 rocket salvo per ship.
It will be the Black Pearl broad firing again.

There is no allied airplane that can catch a Komet under steam. Nor will there be.

Building is cheap. Engine is cheap, rockets are cheap, losses will be lower then in your 109 or 190 or 152 because it can not be caught.
No need for high grade alloys. No oil for fuel.

Just a netwerk of train platforms operating as mobile launch pads. I know it will catch on in the near future.

I'm on my phone and it won't let me award anything but "like". Remind me to give you a funny later.

Ryan Fireball wasn't bad for the ten minutes or so mixed power fighters made sense.

For interceptor, I'd suggest the Bachem Natter.

The in theory vs in reality for the Komet is so depressing.

In theory:

In reality:

Those were brave men that flew in the 163, if the high molality Hydrogen Peroxide in the T-Stoff didn't dissolve your flesh, the Hydrazine in the C-Stoff gave you cancer and attacked your nervous system. I've worked safely around hypergolics my whole career, but am old enough to have heard stories about people mixing Monomethyl Hydrazine and Hydrazine with a broom stick to formulate Aerozine 50 for engine tests.

The Fisher P-75 is my favorite worst aircraft that never should have had one penny of funding. The prototype was a true FrankenFighter.
