This kind of ended up here because my interest was piqued about the use of the A-4 Skyhawk. I ran across the photo of a Brazilian Skyhawk landing on the USS Ronald Reagan. It turns out Brazil purchased an old French Navy aircraft carrier and renamed it the BNS Saõ Paulo (A12). The ship was actually still afloat until last year it was suddenly sunk off the coast of Brazil by their navy.
