A damaged OS2U Kingfisher is brought aboard the light cruiser USS Vicksburg. The plane had been flipped upside down in a crane mishap while hoisting it
aboard. Pilot and observer were already aboard when the mishap occurred. The picture was taken the Vicksburg from March to May 1945 while operating
with TG38.1/58.1.

Delivered too late to take part in WW2, this Australian Beaufighter Mk.21 (A8-328) finished its RAAF career as a target tug in 1956. Disposed, it ended up as an outdoors attraction at the playground of the Lord Mayor of Melbourne's Children's Camp in Portsea, Victoria until 1962. By then a sad badly deteriorated derelict, A8-328 was saved by the Australian Aircraft Restoration Group and gorgeously restored. It now resides at the Australian National Aviation Museum, Moorabbin Airport, Victoria.

Looking for some good reference pictures regarding the BF109 F series, preferably the F4/F4tropical versions. I'm currently making a in-game 3d texture of a US/RAF captured 109F4. (I'll provide that picture below) Basically I'm looking for pictures that show the typical engine cowlings oil...
