I just got an e-mail about restoring America's industrial base and look what they illustrated it with. I guess that was at Inglewood rather than KC.

Well, they did build aft turret OD painted models at KC, so the photo above probably was there.

Pacific Historian
Bristol Beaufighter Mk. 1 R2065 from No. 219 Squadron. On 30 October
1940, it took off from Redhill Airfield for its nightly patrol but crashed
while landing due to the poor weather's bad visibility. The crash killed
P/O Kenneth Worsdell and gunner Sergeant Eric Gardiner. This flight
was honored with a memorial at the airfield on the 75th anniversary of
the crash.
