Check how the national insignia of the two a/c are different: PBM has the white bars applied with no surrounding yet but the Duck has the old style blue disks (big and without bars).

Good question. I did a quick look into it, but nothing came up. I have my next class coming up, so I won't be able to look into it more thoroughly until the weekend.

The B-25 G or H and the P-51B indicate a North American related site.

The radial could then be a T-6.

Suspect it is an O-47, also a North American product, kept as a hack.

It has straight-dihedral wings though, not straight inboards and cranked-up outboards. And the T-6's landing gear goes straight down from the wing, but this other plane's gear is off at an angle. Same problems with O-47 and BT-13. Might be some sort of civilian plane?

The landing gear was the first thing to catch my eye from the "blow-up". Not that I have a clue of what that is.
