Flight Lieutenant A. Keith Ogilvie, DFC, Ottawa became a German POW on 4 July 1941.
Flight Lieutenant Ogilvie had shot down seven enemy aircraft when he was wounded
in combat when a German cannon shell fragment lodged in his shoulder. Ogilvie took
part in the famous "Great Escape" from Stalag Luft III in March 1944, but was recaptured.
He passed away in 1998.

Operation WRECKAGE: low-level daylight attack on targets in Bremen by aircraft of No. 2 Group, 4 July 1941. Luftwaffe officers
stand by part of the wreckage of a Bristol Blenheim Mark IV of No. 105 Squadron RAF in a street in the dock area, while firemen
attend to burning buildings beyond. The remains are probably those of Z7426 which was hit by anti-aircraft fire and crashed
onto a factory in the target area. The pilot, Sergeant W MacKillop, and his 2 crewmen were all killed.

Various light planes - only a few actual pipers. I think I see Interstate, Aeronca & a Stinson. Is that a low wing of some kind, left side, center of the mass. Why are all the troops out in the snow?

It's a big formation. Stuttgart Army Airfield (Arkansas) opened as a glider pilot training field in August 1942. It switched over to twin engine school in 1943. Wikipedia says that the glider school shut down on 19 May, 1943. So this is probably a glider school graduation ceremony.
