CH-37 Mojave, Had one fly over my platoon in basic training in the Army, Fort Polk, La. in 69.
Have no idea why, because I'm pretty sure the Army had retired them by them.
Had a about 2000 hp radial in each of those side pods
All choppers are noisy, but these were more noisy than most

A Douglas F4D-1 Skyray of Fighter Squadron 13 (VF-13) "Night Cappers" approaching the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Essex (CVA-9). VF-13 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 10 (CVG-10) on Essex´s last deployment as an attack carrier to the Mediterranean Sea from 7 August 1959 to 26 February 1960.

Here is F4D of VF-74 aboard CVA-42 with its APQ-50A radar slid forward on its mounting rails for maintenance sometime between July 1957 and March 1958:
