Possibly the first production Tu-144 on rollout. This isn't the prototype, several things give it away, the glazed sections on the drooped nose and the position of the main gears retracting into the nacelles. The prototype's were positioned outboard of the nacelles. There were so many changes made between the prototype and production aircraft following trials with the prototype, they basically redesigned the entire thing, almost every aspect of the aircraft was redesigned. If this is the first production airframe it survives at Monino. This is it more than 20 years ago on a rather stormy Moscow day. It's still a cool looking thing.
