Just a quick question, what does PR and FR mean when it comes to planes and stuff? :|

i think photo reconaissance and fighter recce

edit my reply its for name of british planes like spitfire PR XI or FR XIV

P.R. = Photo Reconnaissance, e.g. Spitfire P.R.IV, P.R.XIX, which were unarmed, and usually used height to keep out of trouble..
F.R. = Fighter Reconnaissance, e.g. F.R.XIV, F.R.XVIII, which carried cameras and armament, and went in at low-level, so could fight their way out of trouble.

Never knew that before, Thanks.
