Hello
I belong to the museum on the AFB of Mont de Marsan in the SW of France. We have an unidentified propeller blade that might be German.
Can anyone help me to put a name on it with the attached markings?
Thanks

Ch.L

Have you got an overall photo of the blade? and a general photo of the blade root?

Sometimes it helps to narrow down possibilities before delving into books with just a number.

Attached are the pictures taken during the week-end.
Thank you for your help.

Hello Gumbyk

Have you seen my other pictures of the blade? Do you know who could help me?

Thanks

Somewhere I have a pdf on VDM props and what they were fitted to but I cannot find it.
I have one on Argus props but that does not have any photos of the blades.
You could try a site like the forum at German Luftwaffe as they could probably help.
Please let us know here if you do get a positive id as we are (nearly) all willing to learn and expand our knowledge

Hi Ch.L,
The blade marked 9-12049.10 is from either a Bf110F/G with DB601F/DB605B or an Me210 with DB605B engines. I hope that is useful!

Cheers
