This news is from 2011 guys. Yes the RAAF did preserve 7 airframes in mint condition spread throughout the country in various museum, they even gifted one to the Pacific aviation museum in Hawaii. Pearl Harbor News, Pearl Harbor Events, Aviation News, Ford Island Events. See my Amberley thread for two of these F-111's.

Wish New Zealand's Wigram Museum scored one .. they were flying through and across the country on a very regular basis and with RNZAF crews .
