Lovingly referred to as "The Screaming Tit".Just arrived from Hannant's.
Eduard colour pe set for the cargo seats for the RAF C-130 Hercules, and the Mach Models 1/72nd scale A.W. Argosy, to complete the trio of RAF fixed-wing aircraft I've jumped from (Argosy, Andover and Hercules).
Now I just need another room in which to display them when built !!!

Will find out soon. Plan on doing the tires for the current Hienkel build, brushing. Then, using the paint mule, adding a few drops to the Vallejo Model Air RLM 76, spraying on a coat or two. Should know if it woks for me shortly....Heard great things about Mr. Color leveling thinner
That Tamiya Bf is what I'm gonna use for my MesserSpit! ArrrrrrrrrJust had to try the Mr Color leveling thinner. AND while ordering, and not wanting to under use the shipping costs, I had to fill the shipping box with something other than packing paper. Right?
Saw a fairly reliable review on thinning paints, multi-manufacures, and Vallejo Model Air was one that was thinned with this Mr. Color. Impressed, I thought worth an investment. The biggest reason was the thinning of my Aqueous paints, they need something and what I have wasn't doing the job very well.

That's why I bought it again, the engine detail. That and the almost free kubelwagen that comes with it. Enough 'comes-with' detail, and your handiwork it will be a stunner. That Tamiya Bf is what I'm gonna use for my MesserSpit! Arrrrrrrrr
It's da-shiznit. I use it exclusively with Tamiya acrylics and Gunze Aqueous. Yes, it definitely kinda-sorta defeats the purpose of using acrylic paint(s) by thinning with a lacquer thinner but the difference in spraying, adhesion, etc. is quite obvious. For most applications, thin about 60% thinner to 40% paint. Increase the thinner ratio (up to 80-90%) to do detail work, etc. If I'm going to use a chipping medium (AK, VMS, whatever), I then thin the paint with X20a because it will allow easier chipping.Heard great things about Mr. Color leveling thinner
I did message George and gave him my first impression. With Vallejo, I'll stick with the Vallejo line for thinner and retarding. But with the Mr. Color Aqueous, to brush paint, it was perfect. I did have a time cleaning the air brush after the Vallejo attempt, finally just using the Mr. Color thinner itself to do most of the dirty work and then a bit or 99% alcohol to final. WIll be interesting to work with the Tamiya's that I have. Although their thinner and flow work well. It's da-shiznit. I use it exclusively with Tamiya acrylics and Gunze Aqueous. And lastly to state the obvious.....you'll now need to clean your airbrush with plain old box store lacquer thinner.
Seriously, give it a try. You won't go back.
