Ah, I see. My old (Hungarian) Alder airbrush has the self centering nozzle, but this one doesn't.
Without stripping it completely yet, these are the nozzle fittings of the Sagud I have:

The 0.3 mm nozzle, as already fitted in the airbrush...

...and the nozzles for the 0.2 and 0.5mm needles.
New types to me, so we'll see how they work out.

Thank you for the details!
I'm searching for something new and wanted to try the auto-centering nozzles (in any possible form).
Wish you fun with the new airbrush!
The good part in your case is that those nozzles/caps/needles are relatively cheap and easy to find...so far.
Cheers!

Yeah that's like mine, iwata knockoff. But it works as good as an iwata and was $30 as opposed to $150+.

Just came, to be done as a USAAF captured that was later "liberated" by the RAF; lots of large red rectangles and yellows

Some may recall a while ago that I posted in the Tools section, a company was making pre-cut foam wheel well inserts to serve as paint masks. I liked the idea but not the cost. Recently while looking for something else, I came across a product called "Eva Foam". Cosplayers use it to make their costumes. The gerbil wheels started turning and I thought, why not

I got the 3mm white for about 9$ plus a little shipping. The sheet is about 14"x19" so a couple hundred masks can be made. I did a quick test drive below. You should do this before you close the wing halves up so that you can trace around the wheel well and then cut it out. A new sharp blade should be used I think, I used small scissors which kinda sorta almost worked. Upon reflection, 5mm thickness may be better, I dunno

A work in progress
