does the tamiya kit work well? The main issue I have with the boxes is the missing victory marks for charles weaver plane and tamiya didn't gave the non censored version it seems, hence I'm going more toward lou IV.
A aurelien wolff Its Tamiya so you should be very happy with it. A few things Tamiya didn't do but add to the finished model. There's a drain hole on the right side, a couple twist of the drill and done

The long slot behind the cockpit shouldn't be bottom-less, some plastic card helps

And if you feel energetic, some panel lines on the wings need filled, red lines

Possibly other minor improvements but a straight build out of the box definitely takes nothing away from the finished product

I'm fine with filling panel lines, I plan to do nooky booky 4 with mine since I got the swastika victory mark , the hasegawa nose art will the box art marking . didn"t eduard do the same thing with the panel lines on their 1/72 scale mustang. glad I got the victory mark for charles weaver plane, otherwise the sheet would cost a bunch (at least for me, it's just the victory mark, I do'nt see the point in spending more than 20€ on that)

The Tamiya P-51 has been the industry Modelers slandered until the Eduard came out. Depending on whom you ask you may still find that they prefer it over the Eduard. The Tamiya is easer to build as the Eduard has a more involved finnicky build to it. Either will produce a show stopper. I've done both and enjoy both.

Fedex arrived with my packages from Japan. I am really impressed at the rate it gets here once the handling time passes. I just beat the Japanese holiday too, according to Ryuichi.
Massive box. These are the 15 art prints by the artist of the kits in the collection.

One kit for each A6M produced.

Finally have an A6M1.

Another A6M2-K

The other item that came from Japan was this Ka-14 prototype.

NO MORE ZEROS gents!!

did you got all of hasegawa zeros? I got some of them in my stash (and be tempted by the eduard zeros, trust in me, you won't regret it)

Todays arrivals. No more Zeros. I did see two that looked appealing, but I said, "Das nein, das nien, いいえ ee-eh やめろ ! ¡No lo hagas!" So, I got different aircraft kits instead. Just decals. Aloue Khasan and Khalkin Gol 1/72 and Grumman Drones 1/72 (they were an error, so I am stuck with them, all the way from Kazakhstan) since I have the 1/48 ones I really wanted.

More Japanese Tail Markings White 1/48. I wanted two sets each of White, Red, Yellow and Black in 1/48 scale. I have those in 1/72 as well, but only one set of each. These came from Canada.

Lucked out on this and found a set for $8.75 from HLJ. They also sent me an email telling me the tariffs are going to affect prices (they think) starting August 29. They sounded confused about the tariffs, so they said you better get your items shipped now, just in case. I won't be ordering anything much from overseas after August. It's best to wait and see what happens with those. There is one item left I am getting from the Czech Republic, so I better do that today.
