Yep .. I use the Humbrol non yellowish gloss or satin oil one usually. The kind of the varnish gets longer to dry up but is more flexible than the Humbrol or other manufacturers' clear acrylic varnishes.

Yes, these can be helpful. But giving the same inflexible coat they may make the matter worse. Just a matter of practise IMHO.

Many Japanese PoWs were held at Ft. McCoy, WI. Maybe some escaped.

Got this kit at a decent price. My last Fw190 Dora was a 1/48 Dragon D-9. This should be a lot easier to assemble.
