oh yeah. I've heard of Bra-Z models. Contrails also does some same scale 1950's airport accessories, too. thanks, Terry

thanks. these kits were reorganized and reissued, so they're insanely easy to do. they have newly issued decals which give unbelievable detail at this small scale. I might start work on one of them, soon. I'm thinking of taking the older ones I did, (there are 6 of them) paint them gold and hang them on my wall from a large board with metal rods holding them up. thank you, Round 2 models for bringing back the old Star Trek models!

Got this at 1/3rd off today. It'll be back-dated to a H-2 in the BoB, and for the V1, I have a cunning plan .........

Don't have it in my grubby hands on it yet, but I've got the high bid on a Comet Models balsa P-38 on eBay. Comet models went out of business in 1987. This sucker has a 38 inch wingspan ! I'll know in a few hours.

Hope that you'll get it Mr. C!

Sounds like a good one Charles - keeping my crossed fingers even more crossed for you! Love to see that one built.
A friend of mine called in this evening and asked if this was of any use to me - just what I've been looking for ! Great for storing all paints, tools etc, and compact too.

When I was i business, this was called "side thinking"
My mother had and now my wife has a box like this to keep her sewing tools and reels of thread, but I never thought that it could be very good for myself as well.
Alberto

Yep, it's a sewing box, picked up at a charity shop, and still had some vintage sewing equipment inside it! I've been looking for one for some time, and my friend didn't know this - he just thought it might be useful for me!
As for the V1, let's just say, for now, that it will also be in a box. (The other V1 that Evan sent me is going into a launch ramp diorama - eventually).
