Great stuff Karl. The decal sheets look good, especially the RAF Sabres - might get one of those. I'm watching those two Revell RAF Phantoms I told you about, now that I know they're ex-Hasegawa!
 
I'll have to get another Academy Sabre first. I'm not going to bid too high, but if it's looking reasonable, I'll go for one of those Phantoms, to do in green/grey this time. The guy I contacted only lives a few miles away too!
 
Right on Wayne and Karl. Did a quick check of your P-47 decals. I'm looking for the markings of an RCAF pilot who flew with 146sqd and was shot down and captured; Flight Lt. Herb Ivens. Are you and the nephew going to do a Start to Finish thread?

probably will do a thread with the young 'un, he gave me an Academy P-38 for xmas and wanted to help me build it so i thought i'd get him something a bit easier to start him on !!!
 
Just won the first two, cheap, on the 'bay', and got the Sabre (for a RAF bird) cheap also, from a regular source. Got a thing for 50s and 60s bare metal birds, hence the first two, although Lord knows when I'll get around to them !
