I've just had these delivered from Wonderland Models they've got some great discounts going on at the moment.

The Arado is down to £14.99 that's a 44% discount!, it was a bargain when I paid £25 considering the amount of detail you get.

This is the new tooling kit that was released this year this one had a 22% discount so brought it down to £18.39

And finally the Airacobra with 20% off so down to £23.99 from £30.

Bill, the Airfix 1/48th scale Canberra B2 kit I think might have been modelled on the T4, as the kit canopy is incorrect for the B2. It has the circular 'clear vision' panel on each side, which was fitted to the T4 but not the B2.
Basically, all you'd need to do would be to bring forward one of the rear ejection seats, add a few bits, and paint in a 'trainer' colour scheme, for it to look like the T4.
OK, there were systems and other differences but, externally, apart from the odd antenna here and there, the conversion would be as simple as that.
I was quite surprised, in reviews when the kit was first released, that the canopy 'fault' didn't seem to be noticed, as the starboard clear view panel will need to be removed, and the canopy polished, to make the bomber version as intended for the kit.
EDIT: Prem, the Revell P-39 is a new tool, also boxed by ... darn, I forget who the other people are! It's had very good reviews too.
Edit edit: I think the 'other' P-39 boxing may be Special Hobby ? I know the Revell version is quite a bit cheaper though.

Even though I'm not Wayne, you're welcome Bill !
I forgot to mention the 'solid' nose, but the clear nose cone in the Airfix kit can be fitted, the bomb-aimer's clear panel built up, and the part painted to match the rest of the fuselage. As you have a 1:1 scale nose section to refer to, adding the swinging bracket for the instructor's seat shouldn't pose any problems, and the rest of the kit would be built 'from the box'.
If you'd like some photos of the Airfix kit parts, let me know and I'll take some for you. it's a nice kit, and quite a size too!

Sorry Terry........... it's my age.

Size is one concern. My plan is to do single engine in 48th and multi in 72nd for the museum wall display. I may just go back and compare scaled sizes, or just stick to my plan so as not to confuse in the displays. 10"/270mm @ 1/72nd may be the size to go with. The display cabinet in not all that deep.

So the same question from above..... which kit?
***But then it doesn't look that promising for 1/72nd.

Bill, if you're going for 1/72nd scale for the Canberra, then the Airfix B1(6) kit will fit the bill, Bill!
Same modifications as the 1/48th scale kit, plus adding the starboard side clear view panel to the canopy. Not sure if it's still a current kit, as I don't 'follow' the 1/72nd scale market, buy King Kit in the UK have three in stock, at £29.99.

I've seen a lot of that on e-bay recently! And worse, a lot ofso-called 'Pro built' models for sale, with high starting bid prices, which are really annoying.
Many look like they've been done by a ten-year old beginner, and that's before the inaccurate areas, such as wrongly positioned control surfaces or worse, totally wrong colour schemes, are taken into account. And these sellers bill themselves as 'experts with x years experience' etc etc !!!

I actually saw a decal auction on Ebay as well when I was looking for a set of Aeromaster Decals for the Typhoon I want to do. Of course the guy cut out all the decals I wanted and left the rest to auction off. No takers of course.
