It's Revell, so no surprise there!

True. But it appears that it's a reboxed kit of the Zvezda 7302 one but moulded with better plastic I would say. No cavities at least.

Was looking for something completely different, in the end....

....a trip down memory lane, as built it in my younger youth!

Tempted to get the Matchbox one and compare the two....

Was amazed to find that such an ugly plane was so good!

[Lucky13]

Wasn't it this, SH-24 that was shot down?

[Lucky13]

Just had a wee look around, it was VQ-1's PR-21, bureau number 135749, c/n 4316 and call sign Deep Sea 129, that was downed on the Tuesday 15th of April 1969, at 07:00 local time....

[Lucky13]

That was rather quick!!!

An interesting subject that I just decided I had to have!

Another interesting subject when the US Navy thought primary training could BEGIN on a jet. A short lived experiment, through no fault of it's own, when the few built where released to the civilian market they really showed what they could do.

You're certainly grabbing some interesting stuff Jim - you gonna build any ?
Be good to see some of the things you've collected 'in the flesh.'

Tempted to look for this one as well, for my smallish stash....
