Interesting Jim...

[Donivanp]

Does that mean no more kits?

Oh heavens NO JIM! DIG IN and buy to your harts delight all the odd balls you can find.

While technically not a purchase, like more of a swap, four Monogram F-4's to a friend who decided he would return the favor.

Nice

Looks better than the HUMA kit, but that now long gone company still holds a place in my heart. I actually starting building the HUMA V1...then quit

Blue one will look great in your hanger, crack on old fruit !

Nice buys and swaps....

[fastmongrel]

I have been looking for one of these for a while but they have always been out of stock. I spotted Special Hobby had stock and put an order in. Just arrived from Czechia.

That's a new one on me. At first glance it looked a bit like a Zero

These came a week or so ago but I didn't get around to posting until now.
Its a 1/72nd resin conversion to make a P-47 into an XP-72 along with the Revell donor kit. I picked up the resin on eBay from a guy whose user name is 'fastodney' who makes the kit himself if anyone is interested. I believe he's a member here but I can't remember his user name. It looks like it will be a lot of work, but should make into a real nice finished product, and I've been looking for a conversion for an X-P-72 for years.

Good stuff Glenn.

Who needs instructions, we don't need no stinking instructions!

[SaparotRob]

I never needed no 'estinking instructions. Then again, my models never looked like the picture on the box.

[SaparotRob]

... and I always had parts left over. Lots of parts left over.

Looks like a bag o' fun
