I'm back after quite a long time...
As far as Yugoslav Hurricane is concerned I can confirm it was ONLY ONE A/C as stated before; very old infos (mid '70) staded two A/C but later researches focused on only one airframe..
But I have to correct my post dated 11-11-2009: the undersurfaces fasces seems to be black over neutral background (not white back ground). I cross checked twice more the pictures and I'm no longer sure of what I stated... sorry for my misleading info.
Any way both styles were in use, early in the war white fasce over black background was used too... Certain manufactures uded decalling (and not painting) for wing insignias and this could lead to a "shining" of the insignia itself when seen under certain conditions. But this was not the case of "our" Hurricane, as -as far as I know- such decals were not available in RA airports.
