Hey skipperbill,

Welcome to the forum.

Are you figuring the parts are military and perhaps from WWII ATA, ASW, or SAR aircraft?

ATA = Air Transport Auxiliary
ASW = Anti-Submarine Warfare
ASR = Airborne Search and Rescue

A couple of PBY5 were stricken back in 1942. I've found some props underwater close to shore at Argentia. Do you know were the serial numbers would be located on these propellers? I'll send pictures next week with measurements.

Serial numbers are inked in the hub and painted on the blades so if you can clean the blades without damaging the paint that is your best bet.
Thanks Sarg! these are some photos. I'll try to clean up the blades and hubs. Blade measures 62in top to hub. I'm a sailor not very knowledgeable about aircraft!
