Are the 2 Revell kits #855986 04728 one in the same except for decal markings?

Revell 04728.. and the no.855986 are the same model kit. The difference is that the 04728 has decals for three planes included and the 855986 has for two ones only ( 7./Kampfgeschwader 54 France, September 1940 and Battle of Britain and Geschwaderstab KG 30, Westerland/Sylt. 1939 ).

Well that clears that up. Thanks Wurger. BTW I will continue with the 1/32 Spit. by attempting to repair the rudder hinges. Will post success I hope

Get it whilst you can - it's about to be discontinued.

The 1/32 scale He 219 is soon to be released. That should assuage the pain!

I built one of the big Ju 88s,admittedly an early release. It needed a lot of work to make a decent model. I felt I was building a different kit to that of all the enthusiastic reviewers
