I've just discovered that Richard Grace has passed away, following a battle with cancer.
Richard was the son of Nick and Caroline Grace, both of whom were lost in car accidents, Caroline as recently as December, 2022.
Best known for the "Grace Spitfire", a two-seat conversion, Richard, a hugely experienced warbird pilot, ran Air Leasing and Ultimate Warbirds, and lead the hugely successful Sywell air show in June of this year.
A very sad loss to the aviation and warbird community, and my condolences to the family, friends and all at AL and UW.
