Hi Everyone,

As a new member I thought I would interest you in my website about controversial Scottish aviator Preston Watson. Very little is known about his work, especially since his family made claims that he flew a powered aeroplane before the Wright Brothers. What he did do, however, was devise his own, unique method of lateral control for an aeroplane; here is an image of one of his aircraft in flight at Errol, Perthshire, Scotland in 1912; This aircraft is variously quoted as having built in 1903, 1906 and 1908, but can't have been since its engine did not go into production until 1910!

My site is a free one, so excuse the pop-ups and inappropriate adverts.

Thanks Vikingberserker,

Although I'm hoping to raise the profile of my site, I've been reading through the threads on this site for some time now and have decided to stop mucking about and get involved.

Cheers,

nuuumannn
