Pilot's manual of Seafire (IB, IIC and III) mentions about take off to set flaps at 18°, by wooden blocks (inserted by deck crew) if Mod. No.63 has not been incorporated.
I would like to know in what consisted this Mod. No.63, if anybody knows. Thanks in advance.

Have a look in here, Page 10 Para 15......the flaps can be set manually to 18° by means of spring-loaded pins (Mod. No.63 ???)
...
just an suggestion
Thanks for the head-up! Indeed, that should be the mentioned mod.

Seafire Mod 63 is "To introduce two-position flaps in Mk.IIc aircraft", first talked about at LTC 16 Jun 42. However, it is noted as cancelled. Perhaps the "pin" mod (which certainly was present on the XV) was a later mod, but I don't want to go looking for it right now.

Wooden blocks were used and once airborne flaps were opened up fully to let the blocks fall out then flaps closed for normal flight. Its what they did the the MkVc Trops that were flown to Malta off carriers.
