The Sikorsky Sea King is the workhorse of many air forces and navies around the world. Since it's introduction in 1961 many have been built under licence in Italy, Japan, and the UK as well the long production run in the USA.

The Sea King was primarily designed for Anti-Submarine Warfare, but several variations have appeared over the years including search-and-rescue, transport, airborne radar, anti-shipping and troop transport.

The Sea King ASW has a crew of four and is armed with torpedoes, depth charges and various sonobuoys and pyrotechnics.

Great stuff, the only Aircraft I can think of that has been on the TV screens all my life As a small child I remember them every time a space mission came back and they are still shown every time there is a rescue or when they want to show Prince William has a job.
