After finding so many helicopter photos in my files, I decided to start a sperate thread. Presenting the Blackhawk.

Next round. This one was at Wings Over Houston. I have to look up the year. It was after Hurricanes hit NC. They were hammered with back to back strikes. This Blackhawk fly rescue missions.

Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 15 (HM-15) is a United States Navy helicopter squadron established in 1987 and based at Naval Station Norfolk.

That dark green H-53E with the extra-large sponsons is the MH-53E Sea Dragon, which is fitted for long-range minesweeping or airborne mine countermeasures missions, and performs heavy-lift duties for the Navy.

The light grey one is a more normal CH-53E Super Stallion.

Getting close to the end. I have photos of some less common helicopters in other of my albums. I will save them for another time. The first photo is from my TDY deployment to Korea. I have a few more from the museum. The second is one of the Cobra prototypes. It was at the Patton Museum at Ft Knox.
