Those extras are called "Rates" here, garbage pick-up, other Essentials.
It's so funny, the TV show called Million Dollar Listing from the US.

Marigolds work for mosquitos, the bugs not the plane
If you are going to keep the trash can outside, try a lib- er, ah, considerable dusting of cayenne pepper. Can't use liberal in your new country.

I wanted to let you guys know about a great service during this move. I couldn't have done it without U-Haul. They have a moving program where they deliver boxes (similar to Pods but smaller) and you can fill. For a low fee, they will even hire "helpers" to load and unload the boxes. All the major interstate movers wanted upwards of $10,000 to move from NJ to FL while U-Haul charged 1/3 of that price. Clean, efficient and easy, this was a highlight of this move. No worries!

Just remember - mobile homes and "trailer parks'" attract tornadoes in the midwest & south, and hurricanes in Florida, the Gulf coast, and Atlantic coast.

Make sure you have favorable hurricane & flood/wind clauses in your home insurance.

Stick up on materials for boarding up the windows etc so you don't have to fight everyone else for the stock at Home Depot.

And if they say "evacuate' you GO!

It's all covered. The flood/wind protection is in the language. The windows have storm shutters that cover the window if needed. I'm also in central Florida, away from the coast where by the time hurricanes make land-fall, they lose their power. We just went through Debby with no problem except..... electric went out for 12 hours. So a generator is on the horizon.....soon!
