Finally got this one over the line: Seafire MK IIc of 807 NAS aboard HMS Battler during Operation Avalanche, the allied landings at Salerno, September 1943. Special Hobby 1/48 kit, brush painted with Humbrol enamels. A bit of a scrapper of a kit, but not the worst I've ever encountered by a long chalk! Interesting example of the type, with the shark mouth and what appeared to be some kind of bracing on the rear fuselage, possibly part of the repair after a wheels-up landing six months beforehand. I think these pics show as much of the underside as I want to give away, as that part's a bit of a mutt. Feedback welcome!

Cheers

Tony
