I came across a reference to some significant combat in the early days of the war between Swiss fighters and the Luftwaffe. It didn't say much, just that in the Battle for France Germany deliberately overflew Switzerland. The initial response from the Swiss was more diplomatic. However it carried on and the Swiss fought quite a significant campaign over a period of time and claimed a total of 66 kills against the Luftwaffe. It ended when Germany made swift progress in France and didn't fly over Switzerland as they didn't need to.

There is a very good chance that this is a story that has grown over time but the specific number claims intrigued me as the Swiss are not know for exaggerating.

Does anyone have any more details or knowledge?

Thanks for this, much appreciated. It looks as if the story did grow with the telling but on the other hand. The Swiss more than just turned up, doing well when they had to.

Curious as to why the link ain't blue. Seems to be hit and miss when I copy/paste a link these days. This started after the last up-grade Mr. Horse did

It hasn't become the blue because you pasted it without a "space" after these dots there. Corrected.
