Well this was a nice distraction especially since I don't usually build 1:48 scale. A long time friend of mine makes all kinds of groovy steampunk type stuff from driftwood and macrame and all sorts of other this and that. I give him lots of gears and old pressure gauges, car parts and so on that he uses. So he asks me if I can build him a plane for one of his pieces. I said sure what plane and he had no idea so I sent him to go see John at Magic Box Hobbies and they picked out this kit. Then he says he wants it wrecked like it crashed. Well that's something I always wanted to try doing so here is the final result. All the background stuff, trees houses and bushes are for another thing I've been tinkering away at. I just put them in the picture to add a little more detail. And now, back to fiddling with Do 215 PE Radar antennas.
