Tamiya Fw 190A-3 Jg 1 1/72

This is my second finished kit from (late) December 2022. Tamiya's Fw 190. Added Eduard PE belts and metal tubes for the inboard cannons. Mixed and matched decals to match the pictures of this aircraft in the first book of the JG 1 trilogy.

A very nice piece of modelling. I'm wondering though if the aerial shouldn't have a sag in it with the canopy open, I know in later models that was the case but not sure with the A-3, but suspect it is so.

the rounded later hoods and some flat ones didn't have the reel to keep it tight. Most D-9s will have them loose.

i forgot to mention that i did swap out the MLG kit wheels for the extra pair of early wheels from the Eduard kit.
