Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible now, early in 2015, to have some accurate and « definitive » information regarding A6M flown by Tetsuzo Iwamoto from late 1943 to early 1945.
The things I found and which seem completely or partially established are :

Partially established.
- A6M5 T52(a, b or c ?) n°252-114 (yellow or white), 252 kokutai, late 1944 or early 1945.

Apparently completely established (But not too earlier for A6M5 in combat?).
- A6M5 T52 (which model ???) n°53-104 (probably yellow) with 18 victory markings on the fuselage aft the inomaru (with dark green outlined) and white command stripe, 253 kokutai early in 1944 (probably February).

4 versions for the « same » A6M… !!! => Must be established if possible…
- A6M5 T52 (which model ???) n°53-102 (probably yellow) with 60 victory markings on the fuselage, inomaru with white outlined, 253 kokutai early in 1944 (probably January).

- A6M2 T21 n°53-102 or 3-102 or U3-102…? (yellow or white) with 60 victory markings on the fuselage, inomaru with dark green outlined, 253 kokutai, early in 1944 (probably January).

- A6M2 T21 n°1-102 (white) with 60 victory markings on the fuselage, inomaru with dark green outlined, 201 kokutai, November 1943.

Other info and version.
- A6M3 T22 n°7-104 (white), inomaru with dark green outlined, 204 kokutai ?, December 1943.

Established:
- It exists a photo of the A6M n°53-104 of 253 Kok. with 18 victory markings on the fuselage and white command stripe but not sure regarding the model 52...?
- From T. Iwamoto's own memoirs, published in 1972 by Konnichi-no-Wadai Sha: "During January 1944, the number of cherry blossom markings on my plane had reached 60, no less than what had been on my previous plane. But, upon inspection by the maintenance crew, it was decided to change the engine, so I had to say 'goodbye' to my 53-102 for awhile, and use 53-104."(p. 171) but no precision regarding the model...
- It exists a photo of the A6M n°7-104, but no precision regarding the Kok. and the model 22...?

Any opinion to help ? :)

Tough one....there are no absolutely certain photo's of any of these aircraft, all are reconstructed from written evidence. I too wish to do a few of these aircraft.
