The US Navy celebrated Earth Day on 22 April by conducting a supersonic flight test of the 'Green Hornet', an F/A-18 Super Hornet strike fighter jet powered by a biofuel blend. The unmodified Boeing-built aircraft flew from Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, powered by a 50/50 blend of camelina and jet fuel, as part of a programme to certify the use of alternative fuels in US military aircraft.

I think this is cool, but I do see some humor here.

"The F/A-18 Green Hornet is great for the environment, even while dropping 14k lbs of ordenance."
