Hi all!
I would like to introduce you schematics of this advanced 1935 project, ancestor of the better known Dornier 335, for a push-pull, swept-wing, heavy fighter for Regia Aeronautica.
Her story can be read on this blog:
Aeroplane to Aeroplano: The Jona that never took off.
The facebook page of "Italian aircraft" for further , english spoken.

Italian design must have used a different rear drive shaft arrangement. Otherwise there would have been a patent infringement lawsuit.

The problem of patent is described on the blog as italians filed first patent, # 342987, on June, 22 1935.
We don't know if existed a specifical owner project for shaft gear only.

Thanks a lot Lev, the blog's very charming!

:D
