That's a great reading spot - can I assume you are particularly interested in the Stalingrad siege? I have a question you may be able to help answer - I am trying to find details of a Battalion Commander killed at Stalingrad in 1942, Oskar Kurtz. He was an Engineer at MAN involved with their aircraft Diesel engine research prior to enlisting. I don't suppose you can suggest an archive or website that is searchable for any details regarding the fallen soldiers from that period?

I do indeed have a passing interest in the Stalingrad siege. But I'm afraid any knowledge I would have is of a secondary nature, book related, and not comprehensive in any way.
I will have a look though on the off chance....
If there is one man who will know it has to be the acknowledged expert in this area, Jason D. Mark.
Worth a shot contacting him...
