The T-7 Red Hawk

The Boeing T-X has received the USAF designation T-7 Red Hawk. This is meant to recognize the WWII Tuskegee Airmen, who were known as the "Red Tails" and the P-40 Warhawk fighters they flew. .

I guess it is a better name than "Red Mustang."
