Got down to about 50F the last couple of nights and my poor neighbor's Porsche Cayenne does not like it. The battery cost $300, was replaced a year or so ago, and yesterday it was dead. Unable to jump start it from my car, I put a battery charger on it. Results were strange. It pegged the meter at first but eventually it came down so it was pulling something like 14 amps with only 12.6 volts out of the charger. I told him the battery was toasted but when he tried it, it cranked right up and voltage on the dash read about 14V. Well, guess what? This morning same thing.

The battery is conveniently located under the pilot's seat .......

Had a Toureg with the battery under the drivers seat. Don't forget the vent hose in the side of the battery. Really not to difficult to do...
