It's day 3 of the Great Blizzard of 25. I cannot believe we are snowed in. Snow as far as you can see. We are in a small subdivision off a secondary road. I don't know how long it will be before the plow comes through

The 3rd coldest day was the spring on 81. Some O6 alumni was retiring and came to the military college for his ceremony. This would happen 2 or 3 times a year. We had formal parades regularly. Impressive seeing 1000 cadets having a pass in review.

I was one of the brass musicians in the regimental band. This fine day was a late season front coming in from Canada. There was nothing to stop the wind. We were in the middle of the parade field. The band had to wear white cotton clothes and not winter gloves. It was so cold the woodwinds would freeze and crack. Nothing like holding bare metal in the freezing wind.

My God! And with FEMA rudderless now that whatshername has stepped down, there will be no help from the federal government. Best of luck, my friend. Our prayers are with you.

I would say that is a good thing. I have a case of spam :spam1:
I was down working on a project in a transmission assembly plant just north of San Antonio the last time you had a Blizzard in TX, it was interesting watching the Lifted 4-wheel drive pick ups with sand tires spin out on the ice.
Today I am at a GM Engine plant near Buffalo NY, we got 24 inches of lake effect snow overnight, it was +4F when I woke up, and the wind is blowing very hard. So remember it can almost always get worse!

1/3 a mile from the GOM in Biloxi MS as the crow flies will probably get 4/5" of the white stuff today. These pics are from about 11am.News say another 5hrs maybe a little more.
