Warming up tomorrow from the -23 to -17 so schools should be open here tomorrow. Apparently you can't get any colder when it goes up six degrees, so it should be fine.

Chinook blowing ...... so +3C (up from -20 on the weekend), gusty, oh, and persistent headaches from the pressure change. The temperature swing is welcome, but we are seriously low on snow (i.e. there isn't enough to ski on (unless you really hate your skis....)

A nice 1.5km walk with the missus, -8°C no WC. Still struggling but my chemical doctor says this is a great thing for me. Probably do one more lap before the game, expected temp, -11°C no WC

I'm so envious of you southerners getting all that snow. Here it's just toad in the hole cold.
It's unusual for sure lived here all my life do not remember this much for so long 12 hrs of snow and I measure 6" in unmolested areas in the open.

Day 4 of the great blizzard of 25. The snow stopped yesterday after lunch. The cloud cover is gone and no more wind. Temperature dropped to 18 F this morning. Looking forward to going to work and the doctor today. The boss aka wife, may have to return to work tomorrow. I have to work from home and she just sleeps all day. As a teacher she only went back a couple of weeks ago. I hate it when she starts talking about much she needs the break after working 2 weeks.

It is a difficult job. I don't know how I have made it this long. I do like it and the students are easier to mange in elementary.

She works with kids with the vision issues for the district. By law they have to work with new born to 22 years.ust of the services is pointless. It was. The kids or in bad health. I don't know how she does it sometimes. She looking at retirement soon and then becoming a contract worker at $100 an hour. There is a shortage of all the specialities, vision, hearing, pt/ot, speech. A good career choice. Much different than working in the classroom. You are a special person if you are in the classroom my friend.

17 F this morning. 36 degrees warmer than yesterday. Supposed to reach 30 this afternoon before plunging below 0 again.
