Had some snow last week but it has been dry and warmer with no snow in sight.

-19°C/-2°F at the moment. Me and the missus just got in after shovelling 7.5cm/3" off the driveway, more on the way

No. Yesterday was 8" which was close to a lot. When I first moved here in the late '80s, we would average 15' of snow a year

Supposed to be a high on Sunday of 8°F/-13°C and low of -15°F/-26°C. No more snow predicted (so far) until end of nest week.

Ugly -- right around freezing. 4 or 5 inches of snow on the ground melting, and cold wet snow-rain mix coming down, We have to drive to town tomorrow for a nasty medical procedure and my wife is already obsessing about icy roads. I came out onto the porch at midnight last night to check on conditions before bed and found a large cold looking bear ten feet away looking at me in irritation. I walked toward it to shoo it away and it moved toward me rather quickly. I retreated benind closed doors and watched the critter amble down the street.

I think it must be winter...

I was supposed to travel south this morning for a doctors appointment. This is what the road looked like when it was time to leave

My computer said it was 19 degrees above zero. I came to the conclusion it is lying and trying to freeze me to death. It most definitely does not feel like 19 above.
