It is good to see your rose still flowering in late autumn.

We had a healthy rose as well but close to 200 mm of rain in the last 6 days have not improved it. Worse still, the lovely grey grass that never needs cutting has gone green on my lawn and started to grow. Some of the weeds like paspalum are already knee high and it is too wet to mow.

It is a perfect, beautiful day outside so, out I go.....
Don't get lost. Bread (cake) crumbs to follow home (to the ants 🐜 that is)

Snowing here. It won't last .... he says hopefully....
:p

Well, the streets and my yard are flooded. Rain has not been very heavy, light to moderate, but it started last night and is still coming down. A cold front is coming through and the warm moist air from the South is creating lots of precip. I was surprised to see how much flooding has occurred, but it looks like the similar event we had in October of last year and the flooding when the hurricane came through the year before that. Not really much wind, probably only about 10 kts, and the rain is not as heavy as actual tropical storms. I decided to drive my truck up to the Walmart, then saw how much the road was flooded a half mile away and came home.

So, hunker down and stay dry. And pee in a cup in the garage and throw it out into the yard so to conserve the ability to flush the toilets.

King tide? Salt grass, good beef!

I'm more concerned about semis and loaded logging trucks coming around a corner like a nunchuck
