It sure does! You don't see many PT-19's compared to Stearman and even Ryan PT-22's. I think the largely wooden structure did not stand the test of time very well. A friend of mine was ferrying a PT-19 back in the 50's. The engine "blew up" and he deadsticked it into a bramble patch, got out and never saw it again.
