U-2CT goes down in Northern California

Earlier today, a U-2 trainer (U-2CT) based out of Beale AFB, went down in the Sutter-Butte Mountains which are located north of Sacramento, in the central California valley.

There was word of two ejections prior to the crash, I haven't heard any details on their condition yet.

An update to the incident, the pilot did not survive the ejection, but the secondary did.

I'm not sure why, as a civilian witness captured the ejection on video and they seemed to have enough altitude.

I had no idea the U2 was still flying.
