Ok, who is using ultra sonic cleaners to clean their airbrushes? I just bought one for use with my brushes every few weeks. My main questions is what solution do you use? I am presently using distilled water and liquid dish soap with decent results. But, is there anything else I should consider for a solution?

I've been looking into one myself but for other reasons. I've seen but never watched several YouTube videos about using a cleaner to do air brushes. Depends on the paint type you're using methinks

Thanks, Geo! Great article and very informative. I did wind up buying an Invsiclean, but one model up as I wanted a larger tank. And, it reinforced my use of distilled water and a dollop of liquid dish soap. You should have seen the gunk that came out of my talon that has been in use with tear down cleaning after after each use. So, if you want a cleaner, I can say the Invsiclean in good choice.

Now, as to remainder of your clowns.... Damn, I missed you guys. And, yes Terry, I murmur sweet nothings at my HS as well. What an air brush!

Here is the ultrasonic cleaner I wound up buying. I bought it off Amazon and it was around $50ish. So far it works just fine.

I clean the brush conventionally: Windex, water, alcohol and then I plop the gun into the Ultrasonic for up to 15 minutes. I gets into places I can't, but I still have to occasionally do a thorough cleaning including acetone soaking to dissolve the dried acrylic. It's a constant nuisance to keep them clean.
